Wonderful Stay, minor hiccups

Staff helped with luggage. I got a bigger room as a surprise, and I saw Galata Tower from there. Breakfast had a beautiful view. I LOVED it. The bed was nice. It had nice sheets.
The street got noisy. The windows did not block sound well enough. That was a problem.

The hotel sits centrally on the European side. Karaköy port is only an eight-minute walk. Several restaurants are accessible. This makes dining very convenient, especially for travellers looking for local cuisine, so many choices.

Staff members were helpful. This attitude creates a cute environment. The front desk provided quick assistance and useful directions. This helped me navigate the area, though some staff were better than others.

Breakfast stands out with its diverse and scrumptious offerings. The rooftop restaurant presents fine views of the Golden Horn. Rooms felt spacious and well appointed. The cleaning service was daily and very detailed, I appreciated it.
The mattress felt too firm. It affected my sleep. Street noise was too loud, particularly during the evening. The minibar was not restocked daily, I had to ask for it.

an okay stay though some issues arose
poor insulationrepetitive breakfast
the room overlooked a busy street and the noise insulation was poor i heard traffic throughout the night even with the windows closed. also one morning housekeeping knocked very early despite the 'do not disturb' sign i felt that was unprofessional. i found the breakfast quite repetitive with the same items offered daily it lacked variety after a few days. overall the experience wasn't terrible but these issues detracted from the stay.

ceren at reception was wonderful she upgraded our room. it was a junior suite sea view i didn't expect that. the service was good and the room had a nice view. i felt very good in this place, so i will return again for the next time.
breakfast was a let down, not much selection. there was no espresso even if they have a machine. the a/c was barely working i felt cold at night.

the hotel is near many transportation options, eminonu is close. it is a short walk to many historic areas. taksim square is nearby, giving easy access to different parts of the city.

mert-ali was especially kind, he upgraded us to a better room. i, my dad, and my dog had a very comfortable stay. the facility was clean and the location suited us well.
the pillows were a bit too high for my liking.
